Once we have completed our own pre-handover tests, we will arrange to meet you at your new home. We will show you how everything works, explain what you can expect during the normal running in period and will be on hand to answer any questions. Once you have moved in, we would normally get in touch after a few weeks just to check that no problems have emerged and to make sure that you are happy with everything.
Should anything in your new home concern or worry you, or you have a problem that needs urgent attention, we will provide the very best after-care service. We will respond to non-urgent matters within 48 hours of receiving your call, conducting any remedial work within 30 days.
For complete peace of mind your new home comes with a 10 year PG Warranty. Orchard Homes will provide your solicitor with a set of key documents relating to your new home. These include your building guarantee and a home owners’ manual with your warranty document. The manual will explain how to look after the fabric of your new home, what to do if you have a problem or in emergency.
